Its not unreasonable to say alot of people don't know how to properly eat a donut. I have compiled a small list of the following tips in order to educate the donut heathens:
1. Take your time! Not just eating the donut, but picking one out. The donuts aren't running away from you unless you are a third world country. Take time to savor what the donut-monger has made for you.
2. Never dunk a frosted donut. I see this all the time and it makes me queasy. Unless u want a shitty cup of coffee leave the frosting out of the coffee. Here is an example of what a unfrosted donut looks like.
3.Dont be afraid to try new things! When you walk into a donut shop and see all the donuts laid before you think about what stories, and memories are waiting for you bite into.
4.This one is more of a tip of when to go. Most shops make their donuts around 3-5am. If u have never experienced a hot donut do your self a favor and do it.
5.When there is a box of donuts at work, or elsewhere be a gentleman and let the ladies choose their donuts first. If there are none left after they choose, then move on it wasn't meant to be that day.

National Doughnut Day!

I started my day like any other day. I got to work poured me a cup of the mediocre coffee my company provides. I then sat down and began to work, then i get an instant message from an anonymous tipster " Donuts behind Stinnet." Well needless to say i was cautious about this tip. The tipster then told me " Its National Donut Day!" Well this is a holy day to donut fanatics such as myself. How could i forgotten about this?! At this point it didn't matter, and i knew what i had to do. I needed to walk over there and sequester me a donut. When i approached the table, there laid to open boxes. There were like arms welcoming me in saying as if "Come here you... time to eat.. give mama sugar." There was a hodgepodge of donuts to pick from, but there was one that shined out to me. The coconut bar. It was sitting there like a stripper asking for ones, but it was asking for my mouth. It was provoking me to partake in its delightfully sinful ways. I bit into it, its texture was that of flaky coconut topping and its soft pillow like center. The taste was excellent not too sweet, and just enough to accent the purity of the donut. The coconut bar was so good i dare not wash it down with the sub par coffee. I'm not sure where these mystery donuts came from.. perhaps a donut angel? I hope i will have another elicit run in with these donuts again. Mystery Donut gets 5 out 5 donuts.
And so it begins

The journey for a doughnut so perfect and delectable begins. My journey will take me through the city streets of LA, all the way to the hollars of the Appalachians, and back again.
